I actually think that explosive pace Gordon has would suit us, he can also play anywhere a cross the front three and is home grown.

I´m not that sure about him in the league but there is hardly a team in Europe that can deal with his pace. I think he would balance out his game somehow for us, get a respectable figure both in the league and Europe.

My first choice is Diomande, there is no player in Europe I want more, I can see him becoming more complete than Sadio Mane was for us. He is already a better dribbler and if he can get that work rate Mane had we are golden with him. Already has a similar end product as well. He tops every attacking category for his age right now, he is outperforming every other player his age.

They are also both Liverpool fans, they want to play for the club, that for me has a hefty price tag as well. I prefer signing players that want to play for the club, just like Mo dreamed about playing for us. My only regret about him is not signing him for 14 million during that Rodgers season, we would have won that season with him.

3ps Fernandes might suit us if Macca leaves, his market value stands at 80m according to transfermarkt so it would not surprise me to see Edwards take the same decision he made with Diaz and get the profits. Cause if we get anywhere close to 80 million for him it would be a huge profit in the books, with amortization. He is about the same age as Diaz and not likely to sign a new deal at Anfield, one more contract and it would take him to his twilight years. A two year extension would mean he would leave here on free at 32 years.

He has had a shit season but I think it is the coach fault not him. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid would all love him. Bayern, PSG, Milan, Juventus, Inter would all take him. Then he could probably get around 500k a week in the Saudi league.

I don´t know where his head is at, he is not really vocal enough to give us any clues but it would not surprise me to see him leave as this would be the right moment for him. Then again if he leaves that opens up a slot for Jones in the first team. I think it is a 100% that Jones leaves if Slot continues, if another head coach or manager comes in I think he will stay. He does not have that much time left on his contract, I think 2 years if I remember correctly.
