I posted my thoughts about Carrick on another thread so won’t repeat myself.
MUFC, probably not. I assume his remit when he took the role was to finish as high as possible in the league.
Style of play etc came second to results. However now that he’s got the job. That changes. I feel that we’re not to dissimilar to Arsenal a few seasons back (first 11 depending on signings should be ok ) the real issue is the lack of quality in the squad, if we don’t create more competition and add quality into the squad, he’ll struggle.
