@happy – Coming from a guy who championed Phil Jones for what seemed like a fucking lifetime, even to the point that you were still insisting that he would come good once he “settled down a bit”, even though he was born and brought up no more than 40 miles from OT and had already been at the club for 5 fucking years at the time you’re criticism of Sesko was in no way justified. Then we have the totally illogical refusal to accept that Onana was the worst goalkeeper in living memory until the sheer weight of evidence became totally irrefutable.
Fact is, Sesko did miss a few chances, so does every forward that’s ever played the game but when the service is so poor that you know you are literally going to get just one decent chance per game at the most it makes life very difficult for a striker to build his confidence, especially given his age and inexperience and the pressure of playing up front for Manchester United, simple as that.
