Yes, there was a debate to be had about booing Trent last season when he was playing in a Liverpool shirt – but a no-brainer when he rocks up in a Los Blancos strip. I think it also had the desired effect as he seemed very reticent to try anything attacking/adventurous in fear of of the level of jeers when/if it didn’t come off. Just like with his long, cross-field pass to Bradley! Real Madrid must be wondering whether they bought the correct RB from us.
