At the end of the game Robbo went to the fans head bowed and hands up as if to say sorry, Slot went on tv and made excuses.
The ‘we play 3 games in week’ excuse gets trotted out after £450m spent, basically saying we’ve no squad depth…if i was FSG after that statement I think I’d be having words, and I reckon theyre making plans without him now.
Seeing Robbo like that taking the flak, its not going to do much for the team cohesion with the manager, and our dressing room isn’t exactly fully surrortive of him already.
Slot’s lost the plot really, his press handling tactics are as bad as the on the pitch tactics we’re seeing, deflection after deflection just shows he’s not accepting that maybe he, his coaching team and the tactics are the problem.
Remember the days of the pressing monsters, this has been coached out of the team and now they couldnt press or crush a grape.
