Mikus, if Luis Díaz, the best left-winger in the league last season, was playing today, we would not have lost. Similarly at right-back, Frimpong and Bradley have not (yet) had the impact that Trent had.
As for Wirtz, he’s a top player who should come good at Liverpool, but as I stated all summer, no young German player has set the PL alight before (apart from maybe Havertz) so a word of caution paying so much, £110m, for him.
He just needs some goals and assists to get his confidence up, sooner rather than later
