I watched Ekitike play for Frankfurt several times and he looked lively, scored goals and had great technical ability. There was a risk he wouldn’t have the time on the ball in the prem and he could be bullied for us but at Liverpool they have a system which allows them to create space.
If we were going for potential Ekitike would have been a good option.
I thought we would have been bringing in someone who has experience of playing for a big team, scores goals and could link up play. Let’s hope Sesko is not another one for the long list of mistakes and comes good.
