Palmer is a talented player for sure and I’m sorry to lose him. But £40m is a deal you can’t turn down. Even with today’s silly money and given what he’s shown so far, that’s far too much but I wish him well.
The only question is where will he play or will he be just a sub as at City.
On balance good business. We’ve done really well out of Academy players last year as well.
