Not completely absolving the defenders Sean, but think the whole situation could be demoralising them.
Think we were running purely on momentum last year during that run in without being particularly spectacular. We never scored from open play in any of the finals we were in. It was still a good run but I think it rinsed everything out of what was left of that team and now the jig is pretty much up with it.
