Potter at Chelsea. Never understand why clubs who have been in and around the top in their recent history almost deliberately try to reinvent the wheel and be over clever by suddenly choosing a long term approach, the classic case being Moyes at Utd who lasted 10 months into a 6 year contract. Expectation is going to be instantly high because of Chelsea’s recent success and stature which inevitably puts that manager under huge pressure in dealing with that and the stature of a much bigger dressing room. There’s a time and a place for Potter at Chelsea. Just not sure this was it.
