Ed, my humble view on this: I actually believe that’s part of the cycle of United’s downfall; the changing of Managers. Glaziers get blamed (rightly to a degree), then Gary Neville is out with the word “Recruitment” which then becomes every media guy’s favourite buzzword, but in my view, you need somebody to come in, lay the foundations, then be allowed to build something.
Too Many managerial changes since 2013. Ed, I don’t particularly like Chelsea’s blueprint even though it’s brought them success in them letting them through the trapdoor the moment they fail expectations.
I know like Liverpool, expectations are huge, but when you’ve fallen from grace, you have to accept, League Titles and Champions Leagues won’t reappear overnight.
