I don’t think you don’t need *that* long or a load of windows to see if a manager’s really got it or not.
Besides, I don’t think people are saying he needs 2 years or whatever for us to see if he’s up to it. I think people are saying it will likely take that long if he is, indeed, going to start competing regularly for trophies and playing exactly how he would like. We’ll know way before then whether or not we’re on the right path. You see indications along the way which give you the courage to stick with a manager, despite a lack of success, just as Liverpool did with Klopp and Utd did with Ferguson.
